The Agent Zones

The agent zones are situated on country Education UK websites and allow greater access to education agents for students seeking an international education and UK education providers who want to attract overseas students.

How do they work?
The agent zones function like an on-line database where agents register information (such as contact details, size of company, services, charging structures, institution references and types of products they are seeking to represent). Agents benefit by gaining access to communications from the British Council, such as visa information, product information, education news, event details and training packages.

How can I use them?
As an institution, you can access the manager database at www.educationuk.org/manager, where you can view agent profiles. See our Download PDF Document user guide (505KB) to find out how to access the agent search facility and build links with agents.

Students can access the database of local agents and the institutions they represent. The search facility also enables students to contact agents directly.

British Council's country colleagues manage their own zones and content management areas. They also check all agent registration forms before allowing an agent profile to go live on a site.

Note: We do not formally recognise or accredit any agent listed on the agent zones.

We are in the process of rolling out the zones on a country-by-country basis. At present, zones are live in the following countries:

Greece
India
Japan
Russia
South Korea
Thailand
Turkey
Vietnam
