Cambridge IELTS 8 contains four authentic IELTS papers from Cambridge ESOL, providing excellent exam practice. The Student's Book with answers provides students with an excellent opportunity to familiarise themselves with IELTS and to practise examination techniques using authentic test material prepared by Cambridge ESOL. This book contains four complete tests for Academic candidates, plus extra Reading and Writing modules for General Training candidates. An introduction to these different modules is included in each book, together with an explanation of the scoring system used by Cambridge ESOL.

Road to IELTS – A free online preparation course

Road to IELTS is a huge package of resource material for both the Academic and General Training modules of IELTS. These learning materials will help you prepare for all four modules of the test. It can be accessed any time and from anywhere, with an internet connection. You can practise listening tasks under the same timed conditions as they would in the actual exam. In the Speaking section, sample videos take you through each stage of the speaking test providing models of good and less good practice and giving you opportunities to analyse different interview techniques.

After completing the practice questions, you can view the correct answers, see your percentage score and compare this to the average performance of other participants in India. You can repeat the exercises in order to improve your answers. At any given time, Road to IELTS has three active themes and these are shuffled every quarter. Read more.
