The Cambridge exams are known all over the world and are recognised by universities, employers and national education authorities in many countries.

The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) was established in 1858 and is one of the world’s leading educational assessment agencies. It has been administering examinations in English as a Foreign language since 1913.

Today it offers a wide range of examinations and services including specialized examinations in Business English, English for Academic purposes and English for Young Learners as well as diplomas and certificates for language teachers.
