- The Post Graduate Certificate has been designed collaboratively by the University of Southampton and the British Council and includes the latest developments in technological design.
- Your study will be guided by specially designed interactive course materials (in the form of learning objects), supported by communication with e-tutors and fellow participants in online forums, in a personalised Virtual Learning Environment, with full access to the University of Southampton’s online library resources, including e-books.
- All teaching will be online and you will take four units of 15 credits, normally over two semesters:
- Communicative Approaches to English for Specific Purposes
- Language Analysis for Teaching
- Communicative Methodology in English for Specific Purposes
- E-Learning for English Language Teaching
- There will be regular guest lectures and/or podcasts by internationally renowned staff from the University of Southampton.
