ARTISTIC POLICY
Volcano makes energetic, unpredictable theatre that combines strong visceral impact with intelligent text and dark absurdity. Performances are deliberately non-naturalistic, exploiting the possibilities of surprise, confrontation, and immediacy offered by live performance. The company’s repertoire includes experimental new writing and devised work, iconoclastic re-workings or deconstructions of the classics, and site-specific festival pieces.

Become an immigrant for the evening. A site-specific piece with audience interaction. (75 mins, 3–7 on the road, involves working with local performers/artists)
