ARTISTIC POLICY
Scottish Ballet produces and tours a wide range of high-quality dance with strong classical technique at the root of all of its work. The company presents a broad repertoire, from new versions of the classics through to seminal works from 20th century modern ballet repertoire, extending into signature pieces by living choreographers, and new commissions.

We provide comprehensive education and interpretation programmes with all our productions. The range of activity we offer includes:
•Pre-show/post show talks (e.g. introduction to ballet, programme notes with the Artistic Director, music insight, costume & design)
•Lecture demonstrations and theatre insight events (ranging from watching company class to deconstructing a ballet)

Activities can be tailored for all ages and levels of experience – from novices to professionals. Some activities take place in the theatre, but others can be offered in a range of local venues.
We also offer touch tours and audio description for people with visual impairments for all of our full-length narrative ballets.
