ARTISTIC POLICY Scottish Ballet produces and tours a wide range of high-quality dance with strong classical technique at the root of all of its work. The company presents a broad repertoire, from new versions of the classics through to seminal works from 20th century modern ballet repertoire, extending into signature pieces by living choreographers, and new commissions.

WRAP-AROUND We provide comprehensive education and interpretation programmes with all our productions. The range of activity we offer includes: •Pre-show/post show talks (e.g. introduction to ballet, programme notes with the Artistic Director, music insight, costume & design) •Lecture demonstrations and theatre insight events (ranging from watching company class to deconstructing a ballet) •Participatory workshops •Residencies •Masterclasses •Resource packs and on-line education resources Activities can be tailored for all ages and levels of experience – from novices to professionals. Some activities take place in the theatre, but others can be offered in a range of local venues. We also offer touch tours and audio description for people with visual impairments for all of our full-length narrative ballets.
