ARTISTIC POLICY
Reckless Sleepers has been making and touring work nationally and internationally for 20 years. Based in Nottingham (UK) and Gent (Belgium), the company creates original theatre pieces, installation projects, and interventions for theatres, galleries, museums, and site-specific contexts that aim to entertain and challenge audiences, viewers, and participants.

Two men are pretending to be pilots. Two men are pretending to be George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley pretending to be pilots. One hour approx. No interval. Two on road.
Spanish Train
An imaginary world in which to explore an act of terror. A dangerous journey into a world of feathers and fear. One hour. No interval. Two on road.
With my head in the (theatre piece for children)
A small story for small people about getting away. About wanting to be rescued. About wanting to know where we come from. 45 minutes approx. No interval. Three on road.
The Last Supper
A performance menu of last meal requests and the last words of the famous and infamous. One hour approx. No interval. Five on road.

WRAP-AROUND
Reckless Sleepers have delivered projects for and with students or young practitioners in the UK and mainland Europe. The publication Trial illustrates the devising methodologies the company have used in developing performance projects over a period of 20 years. A lecture performance accompanies the publication’s launch at venues and universities. The company regularly host post-show discussions and lead residencies to accompany their performances.
