ARTISTIC POLICY Pacitti Company has spent nearly two decades touring award-winning, radical, new performance works worldwide. Pacitti Company also produces the SPILL Festival of Performance, London's premiere biennale of experimental theatre and live art. Socially-engaged and process-led, Pacitti Company approaches performance-making as investigation through research. The Company blends formal disciplines and techniques with social sciences and personal politics. CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Civil Drawing on Quentin Crisp's infamous autobiography The Naked Civil Servant, Civil explores liberty and disobedience. Civil is a series of images and ideas placed in relation to notions of legacy. Nudity & explicit content. 60 minutes no interval. 1 performer and 1 technician on the road. Suitable for small and middle-scale theatres, and gallery spaces. A Forest A Forest is an intimate event fusing cutting edge sound work with upfront live performance. Suitable for small and middle scale theatres, and gallery spaces. Finale Abstracting Zola’s Therese Raquin, Finale prioritises the themes of the book: deception, lust, spite and domination. FUTURE PRODUCTIONS 78 rpm Based on Bach’s St Matthew Passion, 78 rpm is a large scale secular outdoor work. Pacitti Company will collaborate with singers, musicians, filmmakers and other artists from around the world.
WRAP-AROUND Pacitti Company offer a full package of existing wrap-around activities, and a bespoke service where required. This includes workshops, artists talks, post-show discussions, mentoring, and surgeries – peer-led sessions where Pacitti Company advise on mechanisms for artistic sustainability and growth.
