ARTISTIC POLICY
Hoodwink bring innovative, high quality work to the public realm. Performing in places where access is free allows Hoodwink to reach audiences that may never set foot in a theatre, and to give them the opportunity to experience original live performance that is touching, funny, and always surprising. The company aims to stretch audience expectations of what theatre can be and where it can take place, challenging audiences but always engaging them.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Pleasure Garden
An intimate performance in a formal garden. Audiences glimpse the innocent moments of Adam’s first bite of the apple, through love letters and peacocks to the thunderous age of steam. 15 minute shows repeated throughout the day. A naked costume. Cast & crew 4
Gastronomic
An elaborate theatrical feast, centred around a magical table with a succession of unpredictable courses: exploding crab, motorised puddings, flies in the soup. The table finally, literally walks off in disgust. Two 30-minute shows per day. Cast & crew 3

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
Leap of Faith
Hoodwink explore the magnificent failures and successes of man’s attempts to fly. Operatic voice, an especially composed score, wings made of paper, chariots carried by eagles, birdmen and pioneering aviators. 30 minutes long. 2 shows per day. Cast & crew 4

WRAP-AROUND
Workshops, post performance discussions, residencies, masterclasses, talks around the themes and processes of the work. The artistic directors can also offer seminars on business development in an arts context.
