ARTISTIC POLICY
Since 1991, Bash Street Theatre has developed and toured outdoor shows with non-verbal narrative, live music, and a mixture of physical theatre and circus skills. Over several years the company has been developing European markets, with performances in 11 European countries to date. In 2006 their silent movie show Cliffhanger! won the Best Street Show Prize, awarded by an international jury at the Fira de Tàrrega festival in Spain.

Cliffhanger!
With falling buildings, dare-devil escapology, slap-stick humour and live piano accompaniment Cliffhanger! is a silent-movie style production that returns to the golden age of the silver screen.
Inspired by Buster Keaton’s short film Convict 13, this action-packed silent comedy show has been enjoyed throughout Europe by young and old alike.
50 minute production, no interval, non-verbal, touring with four performers and two children
The Station
Set in a dilapidated railway station in the age of steam locomotives, The Station is a brand-new, silent comedy with live music and sound effects. Be prepared for a dramatic train crash, a dare-devil rescue and some great comedy action.
45 minute production, no interval, non-verbal, touring with four performers and two children
Bash Street Bobbies
A very British comedy stilt walkabout with three 10ft tall ‘bobbies-on-the-beat’. These affable, old-fashioned bobbies are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Performed throughout the UK, also Europe and Hong Kong.
2 x 45 minute walkabout shows, no strong language, touring with three performers and two children

WRAP-AROUND
Post-performance discussions and seminars on street theatre relevant to all productions. This could be targeted at all age ranges, professional or amateur.
Children’s workshops with a focus on acrobatics and physical theatre.
