ARTISTIC POLICY The World Famous produces high quality theatrical shows combining fireworks, performance, video, light and music, mainly but not exclusively outdoors. The company uses the magic of fire and fireworks to attract new audiences to high quality artistic shows and forges imaginative collaborations with other artists, arts companies and art forms.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Crackers? A show about risk in which an audience of 12,000 people is completely surrounded by fireworks, flames, video, performance and music. Crackers? is loud, disorientating and cacophonous, with moments of delicate beauty. (60 mins approx, 20 on the road.)
Blast! Michael Santos’ daring attempt to reach the stars. Procession, performance, sound, fire and fireworks revolving around a giant rocket that will launch into the skies. (30 mins approx, 11 on the road.)
Site Specific Shows The World Famous creates firework displays and pyrotechnic installations, and themed bonfires, often in collaboration with other artists or companies. Length and size according to specifications.
FUTURE PRODUCTION Full Circle Fire show about transience and change and the relationship between humanity and the environment. A collaboration with Slovenian musicians Terrafolk. Medium-scale (3,000–5,000 people).
WRAP-AROUND Crackers? Involves 24 members of the community in the performance aspect of the show. The company also offers lantern workshops, fire drawings etc., with the result being a part of the show.
