REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘Brave, unsettling and given an inventive, highly physical production.’ The Times (The Sexual Neuroses of our Parents)

‘A small London company called the Gate has wrapped the unloved Emperor Jones in a bear jug of a production that allows no room for protective self-consciousness or irony. The results have left audiences and critics dazed, disturbed and gasping for superlatives.’ The New York Times (The Emperor Jones)

‘The Gate Theatre – where Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and Alex Kingston cut their acting teeth – hasn’t just survived, it has gained cult status.’ Harpers & Queen

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
The Car Cemetery By Fernando Arrabal, directed by Natalie Abrahami. In a desolate scrap yard on the edge of the earth, society’s outcasts party like there’s no tomorrow. Find out why, at age 75, Fernando Arrabal is still one of the world’s most performed living playwrights. (90 mins, no interval, 7 on stage, 9 on the road.)

The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents By Lukas Bärfuss, directed by Carrie Cracknell. When Dora’s parents release her from her tranquilisers, they’re not prepared for her potent sexual awakening. Swiss writer Lukas Bärfuss’s provocative UK debut. (90 minutes, no interval, 7 on stage, 9 on the road, contains strong language and sexually explicit content.)
