ARTISTIC POLICY Pacitti Company pursues excellence in delivering high quality, original works of theatre by engaging in rigorous research and development programmes. The company utilises theatre as a mechanism for creating new and dynamic discourses around both society and the art form. It draws upon real experiences of oppression and privilege, in order to make works for the stage that are at once urgent and considered.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS 78rpm (St. Matthew Passion) A large-scale, multi-media reworking of the Bach classic. In line with the traditional scoring, Pacitti Company has identified 78 separate sections to Bach's St Matthew Passion. Each of these will be remade for 78rpm, some by Pacitti Company, some by other artists, accumulating materials in varying forms as the project grows over time. This secular work explores issues of home, boundaries, and border panic. Pacitti Company is seeking producing, presenting and artistic partners worldwide for this project. (Number of performers and numbers on the road varies from site to site.)
