ARTISTIC POLICY
Jake Oldershaw is a Birmingham-based performer whose work is often concerned with intimacy and proximity of audience. Ideas across art forms are developed collaboratively and presented with a trademark of moving, heartfelt storytelling. Work with other international companies includes Stan’s Cafe and KAOS Theatre.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
An Intimate History Music theatre for an audience of one. Choose an intimate story/song from a choice of six. (every 10 mins, up to 40 shows per day, 3–4 on the road, min 500 sq ft.)

Midland Aquaphiliacs Documentary performance exploring residents of Britain’s most landlocked city and their relationship with the sea. (70 mins, 3 on the road.)

FUTURE PRODUCTION
Timolean Vieta Come Home Adaptation of Dan Rhodes’ unassumingly epic novel – inventive and heartfelt storytelling with a classic “dog and master” theme.

WRAP-AROUND
Workshops with local musicians. Potential to present songs from the show (An Intimate History) and other original songs as a cabaret at the end of the run.
