ARTISTIC POLICY
In April 2008 ETT will become the country’s first producer-led company under the directorship of Rachel Tackley. ETT embraces the opportunity to work with the country’s leading directors and practitioners to produce artistically ambitious theatre that is vigorous, popular and challenging, as well as confident and forward looking. Working nationally and internationally, the company presents stimulating and imaginative work to as wide and diverse an audience as possible.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
The Changeling By Middleton and Rowley. Often hailed as the greatest tragedy in English after Shakespeare, this is an exciting and powerful production of this classic work. Directed by Stephen Unwin. (140 mins approx., 13 on stage, 20 on the road.)

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
Uncle Vanya By Anton Chekov. A new production of Chekov’s darkly comic and deeply touching masterpiece. Directed by Peter Hall. (9 on stage, 16 on the road.)

Measure For Measure By William Shakespeare. An exciting workshop production with a young, culturally diverse cast. Directed by Stephen Unwin. (120 mins, 13 on stage, 20 on the road.)

Hello and Goodbye By Athol Fugard. A raw and profound autobiographical masterpiece. Directed by Paul Robinson. A co-production with Treatment Theatre. Spring 2008 (2 on stage, 7 on the road.)

WRAP-AROUND
In-school workshops, pre- and post-show talks, masterclasses, residencies and resources are available in connection with touring productions. All tours include assisted performances for the deaf and sensory impaired.
