ARTISTIC POLICY As Scotland’s only full-time ensemble company, Dundee Rep Theatre’s activities encompass a programme of in-house and visiting company productions offering a varied repertoire of great drama from all over the world. It commissions the best playwrights to create new works and adapts classical texts relevant to a contemporary Scotland.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Peer Gynt By Henrik Ibsen in a new version by Colin Teevan (co-production with the National Theatre of Scotland). This radical new production promises a mix of trolls, madmen, dancing girls and live music. A theatrical roller-coaster ride through one of the greatest works of modern literature. Contains strong language, violence and sexually explicit content. (310 mins including 20 min interval, 20 on stage, 25 on the road.)
Sunshine on Leith By Stephen Greenhorn (featuring the songs of The Proclaimers). A fantastic, fun and poignant night’s entertainment. Families, relationships and life in Leith are not all plain sailing in this exceptional love story about everyday life in Scotland. Dr Korczak’s Example By David Greig. A remarkable man attempts to run an orphanage for Jewish children in war-torn Warsaw. An engrossing, amusing and moving story exploring how we bring up children in a complex moral world. (66 mins, no interval, 3 on stage, 6 on the road.)
