ARTISTIC POLICY
Anjali Dance Company is a pioneering professional company that exists to realise and celebrate through dance the potential of people with learning disabilities. The company is committed to changing global thinking about who can dance, and demonstrating new artistic possibilities within the dance genre by creating original dance works of excellence performed by dancers with learning disabilities. Creativity is within us all. By revealing each individual's unique abilities, Anjali demonstrates how dance can be exhilarating, enjoyable and relevant to everyone.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘The company challenges the existing stereotype… by presenting us with differently abled bodies who excel in honesty, humour and sensuality.’ The Guardian

‘The ambitious triple-bill WYSIWYG showed off the six closely-attuned dancers’ discipline, confidence, versatility and innate verve.’ Dance Europe

‘Anjali promotes an exciting new precedent for disabled dance, one that is about visibility, confidence and glamour.’ The Guardian

CURRENT PRODUCTION

(80 mins approx, with interval, 8 on stage, 12 on the road.)
