ARTISTIC POLICY
Hofesh Shechter Company is touring worldwide and is fast becoming known as one of the UK’s most exciting dance ensembles. Led by Hofesh Shechter, the company consists of an international cast of superb dancers and musicians presenting contemporary dance that has attracted audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and interests throughout the UK and internationally. Hofesh Shechter also composes the percussive and lyrical scores to his work, which are often performed live.

Uprising/In Your Rooms
A double bill featuring Uprising, Shechter’s ever popular work for 7 men and In your rooms his explosive International success featuring the full company of 12 dancers and 5 musicians.
deGENERATION
A triple bill featuring Shechter’s three earliest works – Fragments, a duet made in 2003; Cult, a sextet made for the Place Prize 2004 and winner of the Audience Choice Award, and Uprising.

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
New creation
The company will premier a new full evening work in May 2010.

WRAP-AROUND
Hofesh Shechter Company offers a range of educational activities including master classes and workshops, week long courses, and post show discussions. These are all led by Hofesh or members of the company who workshop participants will then see on stage performing the work.
