CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Cof y corff/muscle memory Tells Welsh history through movement analysis. A live work on screen, it starts with the dance on stage. This is performed to camera, processed on site and set in a digital environment. 45 mins, 7 on the road Sawn-off Scarface Short and basic version of Scarface*. Performed to a synopsis of the plot, it is a no-technology attempt on filmic effects and the theatrics of the gangster genre. 12 mins, 2 on stage, 3 on the road Scarface* Tribute to Brian de Palma’s 1983 gangster film, performed against chromakey with the performer mixed live into video backgrounds and the result projected onto a cinema-sized screen. 45 mins, 1 on stage, 3 on the road
FUTURE PRODUCTIONS Cyfnod Eddie Ladd works with composer Guto Puw to create a piece that unites dance and music. 'The challenge for me in the duet with Guto is to subvert my usual dance practice. In this duet the dance is shaped by the task of making sound.' To premiere in Wales in autumn 2009.
