ARTISTIC POLICY
Billy Cowie has been working on a series of groundbreaking stereoscopic dance installations that bring projected dancers down from the screen and into the viewer’s space. This allows the spectator a close-up and intimate experience of the choreography, while maintaining the corporeal presence and physicality of a live performance. Suitable for installation in art galleries or in conjunction with live dance performances and festivals, the works are scaleable from very small to very large.

In the Flesh is a stereoscopic floor projected virtual dancer installation using poetic texts (available in English, German French or Itaian) and lyrical music.

The Revery Alone is a stereoscopic, ceiling projected, virtual dancer installation that meditatively explores a slow, lyrical choreography, exposing the performing body in a sculptural manner.

Men in the Wall is a sterescopic four screen installation where four men battle the endless looping existentialism of their situation with humour and pathos, using movement, music and text.

Ghosts in the Machine is a stereoscopic three screen projected dance installation where the audience (at their peril) shares the space with three virtual women.
