Justin Oh Workshop - Barbados
In December 1999 fashion designer Justin Oh led workshops at Barbados Community College as part of the British High Commission's week of events on British creativity called Pure Fusion.

For the workshop Justin set a project to design a collection using British fashion magazines for inspiration. He used his own garments to demonstrate his tailoring style and gave demonstrations of fashion drawing techniques. He gave private tutorials to the graduates of the college offering advice and suggestions on their portfolios. As well as conducting workshops, Justin also gave a lecture to students and the general public on the influence of established designers and the challenges faced by the new generation.

Justin Oh is a graduate of Central St Martins and the Royal College of Art. His womenswear collections are known for modern utility, simple tailoring and ultra modern fabrics. For Autumn/Winter 2000 Justin used a mixture of hand-dyed tailoring, angora tweed, wool, pewter stretch twill, herringbone, denim, organza and satin with hand embroidery and appliqué.
