We offer a regular programme of arts events throughout the year to promote arts and culture between the UK and Eritrea. So if you're an artist, performer or arts practitioner who is interested in working across cultures? If you want support in finding new audiences and partnerships, we may be able to help.

What we do
We work to bring you innovative work through festivals, performances and exhibitions, some of our activates include:

sponsoring Art exhibitions
participating in the annual Asmara International Film Festival
sponsoring drama and other cultural activities
displaying posters and other art works
displaying young artists work on the Art Corner at our centre
supporting selected UK film shows.

Sponsoring Art Exhibitions
Artist Fetsum Weldezghi was born in Halibmentel, Anseba Region, in 1972.He has received his B.A degree in Mathematics from the University of Asmara. His art talent through self-teaching and practice since child hood. We are sponsoring the painting art works of Fetsum Weldezghi, a young self talent artist. Artist Fetsum’s art exhibition as presented to the public 21 May 2004 at Keren Hotel,Keren. His art work is based on the theme life style, topography, culture, history and religion.

The Art Corner
Currently, a few of Tahira Abdu’s art works are on displayed in our Art Corner. Tahira Abdu is a young Eritrean artist who received her advanced Diploma in Sculpture and Painting in 2000 from Asmara Fine Art School. She has been participating in National Union of Eritrean Women Jubilee on 2000, Students art Festival in 1999 and in Eritrean Postal Service stamp competition in December 2000.

Luam Aray, student at the Tesfa Pottery School also displays her Pottery magnificent works of different designs at our Art corner.
