A thematic seminar on Employability and Lifelong Learning for Erasmus, Comenius and Leonardo colleagues

Employability and lifelong learning are priorities for the EU and the UK Government. The British Council and Ecorys are holding a thematic seminar which will provide you with the opportunity to network with others from secondary, FE and HE institutions, share experiences and enhance EU grant-funded activities that encourage the development of employability and lifelong learning skills among your students.

This event is a unique opportunity to:

• Gain new inspiration and ideas for current and future projects
• Hear directly from practitioners about how Erasmus, Comenius and Leonardo are enhancing employability and lifelong learning skills across the HE, FE and secondary school sectors
• Meet, network and share your experiences with a group of like-minded colleagues and connect with other UK institutions
• Discover how your students can benefit from EU opportunities throughout their education

Who is the event for?

Current organisers of Erasmus, Comenius and Leonardo programmes from secondary, FE or HE institutions, with a particular interest in the themes of the seminar and will be of particular interest to colleagues in careers departments and academic staff in UK HE Institutions.

Working together to raise standards in education and training

The British Council and Ecorys will be holding their annual joint Lifelong Learning Programme and Youth in Action Conference, 'Making an Impact' on Thursday 8 November at the National College for School Leadership in Nottingham. The event is a celebration and exploration of the Lifelong Learning Programme and Youth in Action and will provide an opportunity to hear about the impact of all the programmes in the key areas of employability, inclusion and continuing professional development and share best practice with your peers through interactive workshops.
