A less visited but beautiful country, full of lakes, vineyards, caves and mountains. One third of the country is protected and it is one of the most forested parts of Europe, and one of the few places left in Europe where you can still find brown bears and wolves. With over 10,000 kms of hiking trails, 80 ski areas, hundreds of castles and churches, you're bound to find plenty to do when not in class or at work.
The Slovenian Tourist board plans to make it easier for Slovenians, their descendants and friends to visit Slovenia, through numerous special offers and discounts making it an even more desirable option this year.
