The Department of Trade and Industry provides a good overview of the UK environmental goods and services industry, and Government partnerships, schemes and initiatives with the environmental industries sector. The Environmental Industries Sector Unit (EISU) in UK Trade and Investment has responsibility for promoting the UK environmental industry overseas. The Environmental Industries Unit (EIU) is a joint DTI/Defra unit which promotes the environmental goods and services sector in the UK.
