ELTeCS brings English language professionals together

ELTeCS (English Language Teaching Contacts Scheme) is an information-sharing and teacher development network. Through ELTeCS, ELT professionals can make new contacts, share information, build their knowledge, and create partnerships.

What does ELTeCS offer its members?

ELTeCS provides members with six regional email newslists where you can find out or share information about ELT resources and opportunities including: online materials, teaching tips, events, courses, projects, new journals, and teaching ideas.

In some countries, local ELTeCS networks enable teachers to meet up to share information, and perhaps attend or run workshops and other events or projects.

How much does it cost to join?

Membership of ELTeCS is free.

Who manages ELTeCS?

ELTeCS is run as a partnership between the British Council and ELTeCS members. ELTeCS members post messages to the news lists and work together on their events, projects or publications. So the success of the network depends very much on the involvement of the members.
