Title: 'Challenges and Change in English Language Teaching'

This will be a special event marking the end of the VTTN project and we hope that you will be able to join us in celebrating English language teaching in Vietnam.

The Conference will address the following questions:
What are the challenges of ELT in Vietnam?
What changes have been happening in ELT in Vietnam and the region?
What are the  implications of communicative approaches?

The conference aims to:
- explore teaching methodologies and approaches
- raise awareness of the implications and appropriateness of communicative methodologies
- provide practical ideas for the classroom
- provide an opportunity for participants to learn and share from each other
- celebrate the work of VTTN

The deadline for proposals is 22 September 2008
We will contact you by 17 October 2008 with news on acceptance of your proposal.
