value and promote cross-cultural understanding. |
Dreams and Teams is present in 34 countries around the world. We run training courses for Egyptian local tutors, who then train young people to act as Young Leaders and organise a sports festival in their community. It has been working in Egypt since 2003 and has trained over 150 youth between the ages of 14 – 18. These young people have gained the skills and experience necessary to help in their own community by organizing sports and cultural events.
Dreams and Teams Young Leaders in Egypt have worked with street children, orphans, disabled, refugees and other disadvantaged groups over the least three years gaining a wealth of experience and the confidence to make a difference in their local area.
