In partnership with Operation Wallacea*, the British Council organise Scientific Expeditions in Sinai in both Saint Katherine and Ras Mohamed.  

The British Council totally sponsors 60 undergraduate science students to participate in the Biodiversity field trips in which they work side by side with their British Counterparts.

Selection Criteria
If you are an Egyptian undergraduate between 19 - 23 years old in the fields of Botany, Entomology or Zoology, looking for exposure and can stand desert or marine life you can apply via the website.

To apply, please send us your C.V along with a letter of support from your head of department in your faculty, You will be contacted shortly for an interview.

When is it taking place?
Expeditions take place over June-July and August you will need to commit one week to join either a dessert or a marine expedition depends on your qualification.
