The British Council teaching centres in Egypt are looking to recruit up to three trainee teachers to work in one of their Cairo centres in Agouza. The centre continues to expand in both General English (Adults and Young Learners) and Corporate Services. The latter taking place both inside the capital and locations beyond.

Egypt plays a major role in the British Council’s ELT work across the whole Arabic-speaking region. British Council Cairo is also a regional training centre and there are excellent opportunities for further development in various directions. The centres run CELTA, distance DELTA, CELTYL extension, TKT and various management and general training courses. Sponsorship is available on most courses for suitable candidates. For more experienced teachers there is a supported environment to start into teacher training and regular coordinator opportunities.

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated TEFL-I qualified teacher looking for an interesting place to live, work and develop. A UK or Egyptian passport is essential.
