EXAMINERS: CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH CERTIFICATES AND IELTS TESTS Orange lozenge left
(PART-TIME, TEMPORARY WORK)

Every year thousands of candidates in Egypt take IELTS or Cambridge ESOL English tests to study or work overseas, or to improve their career prospects. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced people to join our team of IELTS and Cambridge ESOL examiners to work part-time in either Cairo or Alexandria.

Successful applicants will receive the appropriate training at the British Council.  

You will need:

•An undergraduate degree or a qualification equivalent to an undergraduate degree.
•A recognised qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or undergraduate degree with ESOL component
•At least three years full time (or the equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience
•The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.

  • Screening applications,short listing, liaising with  ET, 17-18 March
  • Interviews and Induction24-25 March
  • Training and certification29, 30, 31 March and 1 April 2013
  • Deadline for receiving applications is 6 March 2013.
