ACCA is the largest global professional accountancy body, with over 122,000 members and 325,000 students in more than 170 countries. The examinations are based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), making the qualification globally relevant.

ACCA offers three qualifications

  • a professional qualification entitling members to the designation Chartered Certified Accountant
  • a technician level qualification
  • a diploma for managers who are non-accountants but who need to acquire operational and strategic finance skills.

Written examinations are held twice a year in June and December; computer-based examinations are held throughout the year. The next examination session is from 1 to 10 June 2009 at the British Council, Cairo. For further information visit: ACCA website or the British Council
