Completing the ACCA professional qualification equips candidates with an in-depth knowledge of accounting techniques and principles, management skills and IT, which will enable them to work in any area of finance. The examinations are based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), making the qualification globally relevant.
ACCA offers three qualifications
- a professional qualification entitling members to the designation Chartered Certified Accountant
- a technician level qualification
- a diploma for managers who are non-accountants but who need to acquire operational and strategic finance skills.
Written examinations are held twice a year in June and December; computer-based examinations are held throughout the year. The next examination session is from 1 to 10 June 2009 at the British Council, Cairo. For further information visit: ACCA website or the British Council
