IELTS registration
How do I pay for the examination?

1.At the British Council offices (Agouza and Alexandria)
Cash / Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa) / Cheque / Draft

2.Bank Transfer
Deposit the registration fee in our bank account and e-mail, post or fax proof of your bank transfer. Indicate IELTS registration in the email or fax subject heading.

British Council will not accept liability for charges levied by your bank.

3.By post
Post a bank draft or cheque with a copy of your registration to:

IELTS Registration, British Council

NOTE: Cheque / Draft must be drawn in favour of the British Council, crossed Account Payee, and endorsed on the reverse with Candidate Name, Passport or ID number, & Address.

Bank transfer Transaction reference must include: Exam Name (i.e IELTS) Candidate Name, & Passport or ID Number.

If you have posted your application: please bring the following documents for the test, failing which you will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

•Original and a photocopy of your passport or national ID
•2 recent passport-size photographs
•Copy of your Confirmation of Registration  

NOTE : The British Council  will not accept liability for any delays in postal and banking services experienced

What happens if I have to cancel or postpone the test date I have booked?

•If you notify us more than five weeks before your test date, you will get a full refund minus an administrative charge of LE100.
•If you notify us less than five weeks before your test date you will forfeit the whole test fee, except in certain exceptional cases.
