The Business English Certificate (BEC) is an internationally recognised exam from University of Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages Examinations. It assesses your English communication skills in the workplace. The exam is practical and tests how you use English in real-world business situations like meetings and negotiations.
There are three BEC exams: BEC Preliminary at intermediate level, BEC Vantage at upper intermediate level and BEC Higher at advanced level. The examinations cover the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - and assess your ability to use a full range of structures and language functions in a business context.
