British Council Egypt
Shell Centenary Scholarship Orange lozenge left

The Shell Centenary Scholarship fund offers postgraduate students from developing countries, including Egypt, the opportunity to study in the UK at partner universities - University of Cambridge, University of Durham, University of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, University of Leeds, the University of Oxford, and University College London. These universities also contribute to the funding of scholarships.

Scholarships will be awarded to those academically qualified applicants thought best able to contribute to the development of their home country by becoming leaders, decision-makers or opinion-formers. Preference will be given to those who have not yet had the opportunity to study in the UK.

A number of the UK scholarships are also jointly funded with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and are known as Shell Centenary Chevening Scholarships.

For more information about the scholarships and how to apply, please visit their website.
