We are organizing two Ramadan Nights. This year for the first time we are glad to invite Artist Ehab Abdou and his band,
Mohamed Ismail (Medo), Sheikh Zein Mahmoud’s group presenting Egyptian Muslim Sufi chanting and Story-telling Janine Zaki, presenting Egyptian Christian hymns Marwa Sharaf El Din, contemporary Egyptian poetry Mohamed Dawuud, Nubian singing Accompanied by: Mohamed Ali - Violin, Belal El Sheikh - Oud, Seddiq Abdel Rahman - Nayy.
The concert includes songs written by singer/songwriter Ehaab Abdou like ‘Ana Masry’, including some songs being presented
Ehab Abdou, co-founder and managing director of Nahdet El Mahrousa, an Egyptian youth-led non-governmental organization (NGO) that was established in 2002 also the elected president of the Egyptian Federation of Youth NGOs, has always had a dream and a passion to sing and present new contemporary Egyptian lyrics and music that deals with our lives, our Egyptian and Human realities Songs that help us constructively criticize ourselves and our present... so that we can work on improving them... songs that help us dream of a better tomorrow and simply inspire us in different ways.
Several years ago he started taking this dream seriously, studied professional voice training, then working on finding like-minded lyricists and musicians and himself working on developing his song writing skills.
