Selector Radio
Our award-winning music programme

The Selector is a two-hour radio show promoting the brilliant and diverse sounds, talents and musical culture of modern UK to the world.

Each week the smokey tones of DJ Andrea Oliver take listeners through an eclectic mix of new UK music, showcasing a dynamic selection from indie, hip hop, UK garage, jazz, roots, guitars, punk and everything in between.

Commissioned by the British Council and produced by Somethin' Else, the UK's leading independent radio production company, the Selector currently broadcasts to over 40 million listeners in 20 countries.

Described by the respected UK publication, The Guardian as, 'more radical in its programming than all music radio in Britain', the Selector has gone from strength to strength since its launch. Already nominated for one of the prestigious awards in 2003, the Selector won a gold award at the 2005 Sony Radio Academy Awards for best weekly radio programme.

Previously unavailable to a Danish audience on the airwaves, the dynamic production of the Selector is now streaming in three formats on the Selector website.
