DelPHE project search
User tips

Before logging onto DelPHE project search please read through the user tips. For technical queries or if you have any feedback on the site please contact us.

Project search
Anybody can search the site for DelPHE projects, you don’t have to register. To search for projects, users can limit their search criteria by selecting on one or more options from the drop down menu and/or check boxes. (Please note it's not possible to search by lead country and non lead country at the same time).

‘Lead country’ refers to the list of DFIDs focus countries (past and present) eligible for DelPHE; ‘non lead country’ refers to all other countries.

You must choose a theme before selecting the associated subject area.

‘Partnership type’ refers to the different types of partnership supported under DelPHE e.g. bilateral, multi-institutional etc

‘South-North partners’: in this context South refers to a developing country and North to a developed country. The terms South and North are used as convenient short hand and do not reflect geographic realities.

The keyword search allows users to search for specific words i.e. ‘environment’, ‘child health’ etc

For further information about any of the project search criteria please refer to the application process pages of the DelPHE website.

Search results
It is not possible to filter by lead country and non lead country in the same search; if you do so results will not take into account the lead country selection.

When searching by institution results will show each time a HE institution is involved in a project. For instance if two departments at a HEI are involved as different partners in the same project, the search results will display that project twice.

Search results list ten projects per page. Results will be displayed under five fields as listed along the title bar: project title, country, type, S-N partners, and theme. These display fields are fixed. You can arrange results into alphabetical order for each field by clicking on the chosen title field. For example click on ‘country’ to display all results in alphabetical order by country.

When search results are displayed, users can click on the project title to read more about a particular project. Once a user selects a project there are three separate pages containing information about that project. These pages can be navigated by the title bar in the top left corner. The three pages are: project details, lead partner, and other partners.

Tips
If users type in the first letter of the item they're searching for it will take them to the first corresponding word starting with that letter. For example type C in the country drop down list to be taken to Cambodia - the first alphabetical country listing for that letter.

Use the back button in the top right corner to scroll backwards.

Click the ‘refine search’ button in the top left corner to conduct a new search
