We can only accept limited numbers of applications during the late and very late registration due to restricted capacity.
If you are going for late or very late entry, please check first with your registration point whether there are still free places. We are able to settle very late registrations individually.

Winter session: Speaking part of KET/KET for Schools, PET/PET for Schools will take place between 28.11.–7.12. Speaking parts of FCE, CAE and CPE will take place between 28.11.–20.12.2009 (exams take place usually on Saturdays; Listening parts are part of the written exams). Speaking can be the same day as the written part, or on Saturday. Please register unsuitable dates for the speaking part in the registration period (no later than 2.10. 2009). Later requests will be considered only for serious reasons.

Winter session: Speaking part of CB FCE will take place on 28.11.2009. The dates are set and can not be changed. The written parts of the examination can take place between 0800 and 1300 or between 1300 and 1900.

Conditions of registration for winter session 2009
CAMBRIDGE EXAMS – PAPER AND PEN VERSION

1 Valid registration – the registration is considered valid only after submitting a completed and signed Application Form as well as a copy of the proof of payment within the registration period (14.9. – 2.10. 2009).
2 Late registration – the capacity of the examinations is limited. In case of late registration please contact the relevant centre.
3 Dates of examinations – the dates of the written parts are set by the University of Cambridge ESOL and cannot be changed. Speaking dates are set locally.
4 Statement of the registration – you will receive a statement of registration by 19.10. 2009. If you do not receive the statement within the set period, it is your responsibility to contact the registration centre immediately.
5 Examination timetable – you will receive a full examination timetable for KET, KET for Schools, PET, PET for Schools, BEC, ILEC and ICFE by 30.10 2009; a timetable for FCE, CAE and CPE by 13.11.2009. If you do not receive the examination timetable within the set period it is your responsibility to contact the registration centre immediately.
6 Entry form liability – an entry form is a legally binding document. It is impossible to cancel the examination, change the examination levels or dates.
7 50% refund of the examination – a candidate is entitled to a 50% refund if he/she is unable to sit the written part of the exam due to illness. The medical statement together with the application form must be presented no later than seven days after the date of the examination. Late requests or requests without the medical statement shall not be taken into consideration.
8 100% refund of the examination – a candidate is entitled to a 100% refund if he/she cancels the registration before the end of the regular registration period (no later than 2.10.2009).
9 Withdrawal or failure of the examination – a candidate is not entitled to a refund in case of failure or withdrawal from the exam.
10 Special needs for the examination – in case of any special arrangements please contact the registration centre before the end of the registration period. All applications must be supported by a medical certificate from a specialist.
11 Organization of the examination – The British Council will undertake to organise an examination in a given town if there is a sufficient number of registered candidates.
12 Materials of the examinations – all exam materials are sent to Cambridge ESOL in the UK after the exam session. All parts of the exam remain the property of Cambridge ESOL and will not be released to candidates.

Refund policy

Refund policy for IELTS

A registered candidate can withdraw from the examination provided that he/she informs the IELTS administrator 5 weeks prior to the examination.
Transfers between sessions are possible only in case of illness.
If a candidate is ill on the day of the test and provides a valid medical certificate to the IELTS administrator (no later than 7 working days after the test), he/she will be entitled to a free transfer to the next IELTS session.
Candidates who were ill (with a valid medical certificate) on the date of the exam and do not wish to be transfered to another session can get back 50% of the test fee.
If a candidate fails to show up for the test or does not provide a valid medical certificate, he/she is not entitled to any refund at all.

Refund policy for KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC, ILEC and ICFE exams

Examinations fees cannot be reimbursed after the end of registration period.
Examination fee is 100% refundable before the end of the regular registration period. The 100% Refund Application for Cambridge Exams (doc file is available in the left green navigation menu on this page).
Examinations fees cannot be transferred from one type of exam to another.
Examinations fees cannot be transferred to a later date (e.g. the next exam session).
Candidates absent from the written parts of their examination for health reasons, are entitled to a 50% refund of the examination fee (the 50% refund applies only to the basic examination fee). A medical certificate together with the 50% Refund Application for Cambridge Exams (doc file is available in the left green navigation menu on this page) should be submitted to the centre, which registered the candidate, no longer than 7 working days after the written examination.
Candidates absent from their test for other than health reasons will not be granted a refund.
Examinations fees will not be refunded in case of failure.

Special Circumstances

We can provide a Special Arrangements service for our candidates, for example those with hearing or visual difficulties. There is also a range of modified materials that can be provided for candidates with special requirements.

How to apply for Special Arrangements

Please check the latest dates for application, which vary according to the examination and are usually several months before the exam. It is recommended to contact us as soon as possible, during the standard registraton period at the very latest (for some special arrangements it can take 6 months before the modified materials are sent). We will ask for full details of your particular difficulty, and make all the necessary special arrangements for you to take the examination. Unfortunatelly we are not able to provide special arrangements service if you contact us after the registration deadline.
