The British Council in Prague is located at the Bredovský dvůr building on Politických vězňů 13, right in the city centre and within walking distance from Václavské naměstí.
Our premises have 9 classrooms, all fully air-conditioned, light and quiet, and equipped with comfortable, modern furniture.
The classrooms are specially designed for English language teaching, all equipped with the very latest technology. The central feature of this is the Interactive Whiteboard. These whiteboards work together with a computer and a data projector. They replace all the normal functions of whiteboards in the classroom and in addition the whole board operates like a computer screen and provides access to many more teaching resources, Internet, DVD etc.
Our centre is now one of the best equipped in the world, and this helps us to provide even more effective and enjoyable learning environment for our students.
Our students receive free membership to our Multimedia Study Centre which will help them to learn independently. The centre offers custom-designed computers for language learning as well as CD-ROMs, books, audio cassettes and self guided study activities for faster language training. |
