FameLab Cyprus 2013 deadline has been extended to 10 February 2013!

Find the best new talent in science communication!

WHAT IS FAMELAB?

Based on the highly successful UK FameLab model, FameLab International is a talent competition to find the best new talent in science communication. The idea behind the competition is to take science out of the classroom and make it fun, and to encourage young people with a passion for science to share their enthusiasm with the general public. Cyprus has been in FameLab International for the last two years.

Each participant has a maximum of 3 minutes in order to impress the judges who are looking for exciting and engaging talks that can be understood by a general public adult audience. Contestants are judged according to FameLab’s golden rule – the 3C’s: Content, Clarity and Charisma.

FameLab is organised by the British Council in association with Cheltenham Festivals, and our local partner is the European Office of Cyprus.
