Science and Technology
The British Council in Cuba works to develop links between Cuban and British science centres of excellence in research, particularly in biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, health, agriculture and the environment. We have also worked with the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment (Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología y Medio Ambiente - CITMA) on development of science policy, technology transfer and innovation. The British Council in Cuba provides regular information on UK scientific affairs to Cuban institutions and individuals.

Science Links Programme

Established in 1998, the UK Cuba Science Links programme is designed to promote joint research between groups in the United Kingdom and Cuba.
