IELTS exam in Cuba is only available through our office in Havana. There are sessions on specific dates throughout the year.

- Identification document (ID) and a photocopy of your ID
Payment will be made directly at Banco Metropolitano on 5th and 112, Playa, before registering at the British Council office. Candidates must deposit CUC 213 in this bank, and must ask the cashier to include his/her name on the bank slip he will present to us when registering. Interested candidates will be given the corresponding bank instructions and deposit form when collecting the registration form from our office.
We are open to public on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 0900 to 1200 hrs. Alternatively, you can also register online from the ORS website (Online Registration System). Irrespective of the method you choose (F2F or online), we recomend that you call our office before you pay for the exam at the bank (limited places); our telephone numbers for enquiries are 53 7 214 2266 and 53 7 207 9605. IELTS is enhancing its security systems in order to keep pace with evolving teachnology. IELTS is increasing its level of security and will capture a photograph of candidates on registration day and this will be used on the Test Report Form (TRF). On registration day candidates will be also required to provide a finger scan, that will be verified on test day, every time candidates enter an exam room.
The digital photograph and all personal data will be used only for the purpose of the IELTS test. The British Council regards the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as important to our successful operations and to the maintenance of confidence of those with whom we deal. As such this statement will apply equally to all our offices irrespective of where they are based. To this we fully endorse and adhere to the principles of data protection, as set out in the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
IELTS identity verification is an integral part of IELTS' strategy of protecting the genuine candidate and providing security to receiving organisations. If you have any question, or experience any inconvenience in relation to this, please notify our staff immediately. Refusal to comply with IELTS identity verification will prevent you from taking the test and you will not be eligible for any transfer, cancellation or refund.
