Arts Council
Arts Council England is the national funding body for the arts in England. It exists to help people enjoy the arts by supporting drama, music, dance and touring companies, contemporary art galleries and exhibitions, literature, film and multimedia projects.

British Film Catalogue
Listing of many UK feature films and a selection of shorts either in production or on release. Site produced by the film and television department of the British Council. Each film's entry includes a brief synopsis, a photograph, production company, cast and crew.

British Film Commission
Promotes the UK as an international film and television production centre, and encourages the use of UK locations, facilities and production personnel by overseas producers.

British Film Institute
Organisation responsible for the development and promotion of film education and film culture within the UK.

BUFVC
British Universities Film and Video Council: provides services to support the production and use of film, television and other audio-visual materials for teaching and research.

Documentary Filmmakers Group
The Documentary Filmmakers Group is a comprehensive resource for those involved in, or interested in the art and production of documentary film and video. They regularly hold events showcasing new talent, forums with panels of filmmakers, commissioning editors and film specialists talking on topics such as funding or alternative distribution networks. They also provide regular practical, affordable and convenient training for anyone interested in finding out more about documentary film.
