 Reader Development

Reader development has developed as a buzz phrase in the library world, since 1995. The reader is at the centre of all reader development activity. A range of initiatives have been undertaken in the UK to promote the literacy skills of young people and adults and to encourage the growth of reading groups. In our reader development project we cooperate with local libraries, universities, schools, book clubs and bookshops. Find out more.
