The TeachingEnglish Blogathon is inviting all English teachers to take part in our first TeachingEnglish Blogathon.
Bloggers will be short-listed according to the evaluation criteria and judged by a panel of English language teaching professionals, using the Delphi Technique. The Delphi Technique is a method used to structure a group communication process so that the process is effective in allowing a group of individuals, as a whole, to deal with a complex problem. In the case of the TeachingEnglish Blogathon, this means working remotely and anonymously to arrive at a consensus on those short-listed and the winning entries.
There are three award categories:
The first prize will be awarded to the blogger who has entered the most outstanding blog posts throughout the TeachingEnglish Blogathon. We are sending the winning teacher to the 46th Annual IATEFL Conference in Glasgow from 19 - 23 March 2012. The winner will have her/his conference fee, flights and connecting travel, hotel accommodation, and daily subsistence paid for by the British Council Croatia
The Blogathon winner will be expected to blog from the IATEFL conference.
