25 FPS INTERNACIONALNI FESTIVAL
EXPERIMENTALNOG FILMA I VIDEA

The Zagreb film fall will open with the second edition of the 25 FPS Festival. The Festival deals with short experimental film and video and will be held from 21st to 24th September in Student Center. The rich festival schedule – the competition, retrospectives and special programmes – presents carefully selected representatives of British contemporary short film and music videos from a challenging aspect.

No less than nine films in competition will reveal to the audiences that the British are truly in the forefront of film innovation: mixing animation with live-action features, setting sound as a starting point for visual mastery, animating collages in the way of film noir, making video-diaries of residential block claustrophobia… the ever-present British humour will be best evoked through “Silence is golden”, one of the Festival’s premiere works from the acclaimed British author Chris Shepherd.
