Project Description:
Apples & Snakes is exploring pioneering ways of presenting work on-line and live to engage with new audiences and stretch the boundaries of performance poetry. This emerges from our commercially minded approach to enable the arts to flourish in the twenty-first century.

We will work together to commission artists from each of the partner countries to write on the theme of place for an inclusive process that will include other practitioners watching and commenting. They will share their experiences and works in progress through blogs, written, audio and visual on a web critical framework. They will work with mentors across the partner countries and participate in webstreamed masterclasses. They will evaluate and share their learning on line.  We will then roll out framework out to other international settings where new artistic activity from all artforms could be added to enable cultural dialogue.
