About Creative Collaboration
What is Creative Collaboration?

Launched in November 2007, Creative Collaboration is a British Council arts initiative to build networks for dialogue and debate across the arts communities of South East Europe and the UK, aiming to enrich the cultural life of Europe and its surrounding countries.

Creative Collaboration uses innovative approaches to networking to encourage arts and cultural leaders from different countries and different art forms to talk together, learn from each other and develop new partnerships for effective cross-border working.

'In early summer 2008, we invited applications for our Collaborative Project Fund - an opportunity for artists to create productions, exhibitions, workshops, networks or research operating across borders'.

The result was 25 distinct projects, taking place across the UK and South East Europe in 2009-2010. Click here to see a map detailing which countries are participating in each project.
