It aims to assist employers, and educational and vocational institutions, in recognising the skills young people have developed through participating in an international and non-formal educational project.
At present it is the only non-formal and European wide recognition tool.
It increases young people’s self-confidence and gives them an additional evidence for the portfolio of achievement.
Youthpass is presently available for those taking part in
- Youth Exchanges
- European Voluntary Service
- Youth in the World
- Youth Support Systems (training courses)
A Youthpass Certificate is being developed for Youth Initiatives.
For those participating in European Voluntary Service Youthpass is an integral part of the evaluation process for the Volunteer and the Organisation. Every Volunteer who completes their European Voluntary Service will receive a Youthpass Certificate and it replaces the previous Annex.
